Agromeck | Aug. 2013 - Present

The Agromeck is NC State's official yearbook and oldest publication within Student Media. The book is the university's only year in review, and covers on-campus traditions, local news and international events that define the year for the campus community. During my time on staff, I served as a photographer, designer, Photo Editor, Design Editor and Editor-in-Chief. For my final year at NC State I have been hired as Promotions Manager

2016 Agromeck, Vol. 114

The theme of the 2016 Agromeck was "here," which was exemplified through story angles and design elements. The purpose of the theme was to bring our audience straight to the source, and highlight important messages that defined our year on campus. I served as Editor-in-Chief for the year, which involved creating the initial concept of the entire book, editing the stories, spreads and photos on every page, and leading a staff of approximately 15 students. Below are highlights from the book, each spread featuring something I specifically contributed to it -- like the story or spread design.

2015 Agromeck, Vol. 113

The theme of the 2015 Agromeck was "process." I served as Design Editor for this book, which means that I created the reoccuring templates and edited all 328 pages before they were published. I designed all pages featured below, including the cover. I was also able to contribute a "my story" during our election coverage, also featured below.

2014 Agromeck, Vol. 112

The theme of the 2014 Agromeck was "future." I served as a staff designer for this book, but was asked to be Photo Editor in the spring. I designed five of the spreads featured below, and took the photos of Hunt Library featured on the cover and opening spread of the book.
